6. ENABLING TWO FACTOR AUTHENTICATION (2FA) ON YOUR APPLE DEVICE
Two-factor authentication is available for Apple ID accounts with at least one device that's using the latest iOS, iPadOS, or macOS. Please read carefully the Apple article below and follow their instructions: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204915
We recommend you use a business device (not your personal phone). If you will be using your personal phone, you must sign out from your personal Apple ID, then sign in using the Apple Business ID you created in step 4.
Please make sure that your personal data are backed up first before proceeding.
If you have any troubles please contact Apple or check the following article: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204915
Below screenshots show you how to sign out from your personal Apple ID (if any) and sign in using your business Apple ID.
Go to SETTINGS → tap on your name SIGN OUT at the bottom of the page.
Then tap SIGN IN TO YOUR IPHONE on the Settings screen.
Then, accept the T&C's.
When successfully signed in, tap on the name again, then go to PASSWORD &
SECURITY
You will find Two-Factor Authentication option. Tap on it and follow the instructions.
- The next step is "Enrolling to the Apple Developer Program".
