How to connect your own domain

Learn how to point your own domain at your Flipdish website
 
You have the option of using the my.flipdish.com domain for your site. This is available immediately after you register.


 If you would prefer to use your own domain, then open up the Flipdish portal and navigate to Sales Channels --> Website --> Domain setup.

Select the Use a domain I own radio button and then enter your domain. You should include the subdomain that you want to use, eg. "www". (ie. enter the full hostname).

 

Press Next and then follow the instructions for setting your DNS records.

 

  • Your A record for the apex domain (eg. domain.com) should point to 174.129.25.170

  • Your CNAME record (eg www.domain.com) should point to websites.flipdish.com

Please note that we do not support hosting websites on the apex domain (domain.com). A subdomain such as www.domain.com must be used.
