Sales Report gives you a granular breakdown of your ordering data. This is the same data that Flipdish uses to produce other reports for you, but we also make this source data available for you to use as needed.
To access the Sales Report, please follow the below steps:
- Login to your Flipdish Portal
- Click on the Reports option in the navigation bar on the left-hand side of the screen
- Select All reports from the dropdown list of tabs
- Select the Sales Report option from the dropdown list of report
Filters:
The filters section at the top allows to select specific stores and to change the date period shown. Once you have changed your filters, click the Reload button in the top right of the page (not your browser refresh button) in order to load the new data.
Data Shown:
Sales Report
Store name: The individual store that received an order
Order Id: The unique identifying number we assign to each order
Order status: Indicates the state of the order at the time the data was reported
Customer name: Indicates the name of the customer (Note that customers do not always provide their real or full name)
Phone number: Customer mobile/phone number
Order time: Local time of the restaurant at the point the order was accepted
Food amount: The total value of items ordered by the customer
Card processing fee amount: The processing fee charged to the customer by Flipdish
Online ordering fee: The charge paid to Flipdish by the end customer
Tip amount: The amount of tips paid by the customer. Flipdish does not charge commission on your tips
Delivery amount: The total paid to delivery partners for their services
Total amount: The amount paid by the customer, less any refunds. This includes both the payment to the store for goods purchased and the card processing fee paid to Flipdish
Total restaurant amount: The amount paid by the customer for items purchased, including tax. Does not include any processing fee paid by the customer to Flipdish
Tax amount: The tax due on the items ordered by the customer. Does not include tax on delivery charges or other commissions. Note that this will only have data if you are using the tax rates option within your menu
Delivery type: Indicates Collection or Delivery
Payment account description: Indicates the payment method used for the order, and the last four digits of the bank card used where applicable
Payment account type: Indicates the payment method, eg. cash or card
Customer order notes: Any messages or requests to staff added to the order by the customer
Building: Flat, house, or building number for the delivery
Street: Street name for the delivery
Town: Town or city name for the delivery
Delivery latitude: Geographic coordinate of latitude for the delivery
Delivery longitude: Geographic coordinate of longitude for the delivery
Voucher code: The voucher used by the customer on their order, if applicable
Voucher amount: The reduction in the amount paid by the customer as a result of using a voucher
Voucher type: Indicates the nature of the voucher used, eg. Whether it was for a fixed value or a percentage of the total
Voucher subtype: Further detail on the nature of the voucher, such as whether it was for a loyalty or a retention campaign
Voucher description: The text entered on the voucher to tell customers what it's for, eg. "10% off your next order"
Channel: The type of device used to place an order. iOS and Android indicate that an app was used; Web indicates that a browser was used, which could have been on a phone
Requested time: The time which the customer requested their order to be ready for
Is preorder: Whether or not the customer requested an order to be ready for later or a different day, rather than immediately
