In Flipdish, you can configure a product in your menu in such a way that the price displayed to your customer will be determined by the first modifier group rather than the default price of the product.
If the first modifier group attached to your product contains a "Selection Type" value of "One item - Selection is required", and the default price of your product is 0, then on web, mobile apps and kiosk, your customers will see a price determined by the lowest value of the modifiers you have in that first option set.
Let's look at an example.
We'll create a product called Margherita Pizza. The first question we'd like to ask our customer is what size they'd like, so we'll also create a modifier group for that question, with two options, 9 inch and 12 inch.
The 9 inch, we'll price at €9.99, and the 12 inch, we'll price at €12.99. We'll keep the "Default price" at 0.00.
Because we've set the modifier group to "One item - Selection is required" - when we look at our menu, we'll see it display "From: €9.99".
This means that when we change the price of our pizza sizes modifiers, it will immediately reflect in the product's "from" price.
