Note: This feature is only available when your menus are using products. You can tell if your menu is using products or not by viewing your menu, and if you see "edit product" on the label, your menu is using products. If you do not see "edit product", you are on a slightly older system and will be migrated shortly - see moving to product-based menus
This feature allows you to make changes to your products without your menus immediately updating. This is useful for creating many changes without your customers seeing numerous "in progress" changes to menu items, or making a change that you'd like someone to check before "going live".
How to save a product and not update the menus
When managing products in your catalog, you can make one or more changes to the details of a product, a modifier group, or a modifier.
When you want to save your changes, you can select "save only" from the drop-down at the save button. When saving this way, your changes are saved, but not updated in any relevant menus.
How to update one or more menus with the latest product changes

- Update all menus
How to update a specific menu with product changes

Updating menus from the menu list page
When you have pending product changes for one or more of your menus, you'll see a birds-eye view of these pending changes on your menu list page. You can apply the pending changes to a menus individually, or to all menus.
Viewing product changes at menu level
When one of your menus has one or more product changes pending for it, you can view these at a menu level, review the changes, and update the items either all at once, or individually. This gives you granular control and extra confidence that you're updating the right menu with the right changes.
