The Flipdish online ordering system makes it simple and secure for your customers to pay online.
There is a ‘two tap pay’ process which makes it super easy for customers to order and pay for your food online.
Web Payments:
Under the ‘payment methods’ section on the website, the customer can choose to pay with cash or card:
Cash payments:
When the customer is ready to pay, they can click on 'cash' on the payment methods page. They can then click 'Pay with Cash'. If they don’t choose a time and pre-orders are in place, a pop-up will appear prompting them to select a time from a drop-down menu.
They must then click on ‘Place Order’. The order is unpaid, and they will need to pay in-store or when the delivery arrives.
Card payments:
To add a card for the first time or to add a new card the customer can follow the instructions here.
When they enter their card details they must click on 'Add Card and Pay'. This will save the card to their profile and the order will be placed.
This is added as the customer's default card which they can then use the next time they are ordering food from a powered by Flipdish restaurant.
If they would like to remove a card you had added previously you can follow the steps in the article here.
App payments:
The customer can choose their payment method by clicking on the 'payment type' option once the food is in their basket.
If they click on Payment Type, it gives them the option to pay by either cash or card, explained in more detail below.
Cash payments:
If they choose cash they can go ahead and click ‘Place Order’. Their order is unpaid, and they need to pay in-store or when their delivery arrives.
Card payments:
If the customer needs to add a card for the first time or to add a new card they should follow the instructions here.
The customer must fill out their card details and tap 'done' to add the card
Once the details are added they can choose to pay with their card at the checkout
This is added as the customer's default card which they can then use the next time they are ordering food from a powered by Flipdish restaurant.
When they would like to pay they must double tap on the card and click 'place order'
