A step-by-step process for setting up your label printer with your Flipdish POS

With this device which is fully integrated with your KDS, you can print high-quality labels on delivery bags and individual items so customers know what they’re getting.

Requirements: 

• A label printer for your Flipdish POS KDS.

Instructions for setup: 

Step 1 - You should have received 1 box.

Step 2 -  Remove the printer and cables from the box.

Step 3 - Inspect the device to ensure there is no damage. Please contact the Flipdish team at help@flipdish.com if there is any damage to the device or the box after arriving at your location.

You should have the printer, a charging cable, a USB lead, 2 paper rolls and some documentation.

Step 4 - Plug the end of the charging cable into the DC port on the back of the printer.

Step 5 - Plug the USB cable into the back of the printer and the other end into the USB port on the KDS screen

Step 6 - To add the paper lift the lid of the printer

Step 7 - Take the print roll, make sure the arm is on the left-hand side, and serve it into the printer, so the arm slats into the plastic cradle, 

Step 8 - Take the paper and feed it through the front of the printer until it’s pulled tight, 

Step 9 - Close the lid, 

Step 10 Press the cut button

Step 11 - Remove the access paper.

Step 12 - Print a test label to make sure the device is working correctly.
