When you have your Flipdish ordering channels integrated with your Flipdish Point-of-Sale you can choose when those orders are sent to your kitchen to be prepared. This means that your kitchen staff only need to focus on orders that need to be prepared straight away instead of having to worry about what time each order has been requested for.
In your Flipdish POS Portal, head to the Configurations section and click on the Storefronts option and then click on the Flipdish Storefront:
Once you are here, click on the Operating Configuration option:
Once there, you can define the number of prep minutes required to fulfil an order and the number of additional minutes required to faciliate a delivery of an order. These values define when an order is sent to your Kitchen. So in the below example, a collection order will be fired to the kitchen 20 minutes before the collection time and delivery order 50 minutes before the order is due to be delivered.
